Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information PPARx collects when you visit pparx.org, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
PPARx is a privately owned informational website operated from the United States. Mailing address: 201 Montgomery St, Jersey City, NJ 07302. Email: [email protected].
This policy applies to pparx.org only. It does not apply to other websites we link to, including telehealth providers, manufacturer websites, or government resources. Each of those has its own privacy practices.
What we collect
We collect two categories of information:
1. Server logs. Like every web server, ours records each request. Logs include your IP address, the page you requested, your browser’s user-agent string, the referring page, and a timestamp. Logs are used for debugging, analytics, and security. They are retained for a limited period and not associated with your name.
2. Analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics or similar) to understand which articles are read, how readers find the site, and how the site performs. These services aggregate visit data without persistent cross-site tracking cookies and without selling your data to third parties.
We do not ask for your name, email, address, phone number, date of birth, medical information, prescription details, insurance information, or payment information on this site. If you contact us by email, we receive whatever you put in that email.
What we don’t do
- No selling of personal data. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- No retargeting. We do not run ad-retargeting pixels that follow you across the web.
- No medical-data collection. We do not ask about, collect, or store information about your health, prescriptions, or insurance.
- No account system. We don’t have logins or user profiles. There’s nothing to log into.
Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies. The categories that may be set on your device:
- Essential cookies for the site to function (e.g. session and security).
- Analytics cookies (if our analytics provider sets one) to count unique visits.
- Cookies set by embedded third-party content — for example, a YouTube video or a Cloudflare challenge. We do not control those.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Most of the site works without them.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site displays advertising and includes affiliate links to telehealth and health-product services we have written about. When you click an affiliate link, the destination may set cookies and use tracking on its own properties to attribute the referral. We don’t see what you do once you’ve left pparx.org.
For details, see our Disclaimer.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] so we can remove it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Because we do not maintain accounts and do not collect personally identifying information from visitors, in most cases there is nothing to access or delete beyond standard server logs. To make a request, email [email protected] from the address you used to contact us.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Security
We protect the site with standard infrastructure controls — TLS encryption, a Cloudflare proxy in front of origin, and routine patching. No system is fully secure; do not include sensitive information (medical details, account passwords, financial information) in emails to us.
Changes
We update this policy when our practices change. The “modified” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
